We offer the newest and most beautiful boats and watercraft rentals on Cherokee Lake in Tennessee. At Roscoe & Hooch, you can rent a variety of watercraft, including boats such as pontoons and tritoons and motorized watercraft, including WaveRunners and jet skis. You can also rent a host of non-motorized rentals, including kayaks, tubes, stand-up paddleboards, kneeboards, wakeboards, and more.

- $500 Damage Deposit per boat and $400 Damage Deposit per WaveRunner are required on the day of rental.

We can accommodate all sorts of group outings, including for families, corporate teams, and school excursions. You can even bring your dogs aboard, with certain stipulations, including that they be under 20 pounds.

Our location is just a short drive away from Knoxville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Morristown, TN. We even offer same-day boat rentals for impromptu outings, provided you book by 9 AM.

We provide safety vests for adults and children free of charge with our watercraft rentals. All our boats and jet skis are well-maintained and Coast Guard-certified for safety. In addition, our boats are equipped with radios and first-aid kits.

No, you don’t require a boating license to operate any of our rental watercraft. However, to rent a motorized boat, you need to be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and watch an instructional video.
Once you’ve watched the video, simply sign off a release to say you’ve understood the instructions and you’re all set to rent and operate one of our boats, including our pontoons, tritoons, jet skis, and WaveRunners.
Yes, Cherokee Lake is a great place to go paddle boarding as you take in the sights around you. Roscoe & Hooch offers a wide variety of non-motorized rentals, including paddleboards, kayaks, tubes, kneeboards, and more.
You must be at least 16 years old to operate a rental jet ski or WaveRunner on Cherokee Lake. Parental supervision is mandatory for those 18 years of age or younger. You must also have a valid driver’s license and watch an instructional video before you operate any of our rental watercraft.
Yes, all our pontoons and tritoons include storage space under the seats. Please note that you can’t bring any cooking equipment or create a fire of any kind on our boats.
We do allow dogs, only non-shedding breeds, on our rental boats. Please bear in mind that your dog must weigh less than 20 pounds, and if your dog sheds while on board, a $50 cleaning fee will be charged. You are financially responsible for any damage caused by your pets on board. We also permit service dogs, with identification or proof of service in place.
No, fuel is not included in the rental cost of our watercraft. You pay for what you use. Your boat is rented to you on a full tank of gas. At the end of your rental, our dock hands will measure how much fuel you’ve used up, and we’ll charge you accordingly when you check out.
If there’s poor weather on the day of your rental, you can cancel or reschedule your booking free of charge, subject to the on-site manager’s discretion. If you’re already out on the water when you encounter poor weather, we urge you to do whatever you feel is safe. If it’s possible, try to make it back to the dock, and if not, consider pulling into the back of a cove for shelter. Once you’re safe, call us to discuss the raincheck policy on our Tennessee rental boats and watercraft.
